PTU MEETING JANUARY 10, 2007
1. Opening prayer
2. Motion made to approve minutes for December meeting – 2nd – approved.
3. Treasurer’s Report – Budgeted Income - $40,600. Budgeted Expenses - $38, 575. Cash Balance = $36,255.45
4. Subcommittee Reports
a. Candy Bar Sale - $2,127 still outstanding
b. Spirit Shop – doing well
c. Pierogies – dough machine working
d. Secret Santa - $1300 approximate profit
5. Teacher Liaison – Nothing to report
6. New Business
a. Catholic School Week – Parents will receive notice of activities for the week, such as dress down etc. Will begin on 1/27/07, with meeting with report regarding registration and tuition fees.
b. New music teacher from CSU hired and will start this month.
c. Planning to make a month-to-month PTU master schedule
d. Notice to go home regarding Executive Board vacancies effective after this school year – VP and Treasurer.
e. Cinco de Mayo fundraiser – could be used to fund Spanish teacher for next year
f. Next meeting date January 29, 2007 at 6:30
7. Old Business
a. Movie Night – December movie concessions were $76.00. Motion made to use $849.00 for new projector – 2nd – approved. Projector for movie nights as well as general school needs.
